Helen qualified with a BSC (Hons) degree in Herbal Medicine in 2002 and a diploma in Nutritional Therapy in 2007. Using herbal remedies mostly from Europe and North America, she follows the Western traditions of herbal medicine and has a special interest in herbal medicine for the treatment of women’s health, fertility (male and female) and preconception care.
As a qualified Nutritional Therapist, Helen works with individuals and couples to help achieve optimum nutrition in preparation for natural conception and assisted conception techniques. With the main emphasis on good nutrition through diet, she also uses specific food supplements to correct nutritional deficiencies or imbalances that may be barriers to conception. Using functional tests such as hair mineral analysis and hormone testing, Helen can create a 3 to 6 month personalised nutritional program aimed at getting both partners as healthy as possible and therefore increasing the chance of conception.
